Any Indian citizen who has attained the age of 17 years and has passed 10+2 Level from any recognized Council/Board of India or abroad. She/he must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology as elective subjects and obtained minimum 50% in aggregate of PCB combined. Also must have studies and passed English as a compulsory subject.

Yes, you can practice in India. In order to practice as a medical practitioner you have to register yourself with the State or Indian Medical Council. For this you have to appear for a screening test. On clearing the screening test you are eligible for registration as a doctor and allowed to practice on par with all other doctors.

Normally a student who passes MBBS from a WHO recognized college is expected to clear the test. One can also take coaching towards preparation for the same.

The vegetables available there are very similar to what we get here. All the popular vegetables like Potato, Brinjal, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Beans, Carrots, and Cucumber etc are available. Similarly Egg, Fish, Chicken, Mutton are also abundant. Indian style Rotis are available in special restaurants but Loaf Bread, Cookies, Pastries, Ice Cream, Canned Juices are available in plenty in all the college canteens & dining halls.
There are two vacations. Winter and summer. The winter vacation is around the last week of December and is normally for 10-15 days. I suggest you enjoy there in that country during this period. The summer vacation is normally for 5-8 weeks and around July/August/September depends upon the University and you can easily visit your home during this period. That is also the end of term. However the travel by air takes totally about 8-10 hrs from anywhere in India with some intermittent time for flight changeover.

As per RBI regulation an Indian student pursuing education abroad can obtain Bank Loan unto 15 Lacks INR. Since the cost of the entire program is well within this amount the entire program can be funded from Bank Loan

In all European Countries, Russia and China the Duration is 6 years including practical Training. In USA – Central America-Belize -St. Lucia the duration of the course is Premed for 2 years, 2 years for non clinics, 2 years clinical rotations and 3 years Residency in USA, if you want to practice in USA.
The climate is little bit cold when compare to India.

The medium of Instruction is in ENGLISH. However local Language class is included for the First 2 years. This is to make the students stay comfortable by enabling him to communicate with the locals and more with patients.
You can do it at the college in that country itself. They will also allow you to do it in your homeland. The Hospital must be recognized by the Government and on due certification the college shall confer the final MBBS degree. And the permission of MCI.

Students live in a University hostel. There are rooms with either two or three beds, a common bathroom or common kitchen. Each room comes with beds, tables and cupboards. Hostels are within the University campus or a 5-10 minute ride. There are internet facilities in shops near the hostel; food stores, restaurants and other facilities are nearby.
Admission does not guarantee a hostel room. Ensure you reach in the beginning of the academic year and get a seat in the Hostel; which is allotted on first come & dash; first serve basis. Students have the option of renting rent a flat in the city. 2 to 6 persons can share a flat.
Firstly you need to obtain eligibility from MCI. Then you may apply for admission. After the Registration & application process is duly completed your visa application will be processed by the college. On receipt of Visa your travel plans will be finalized and a confirmed admission order will be issued to you.

Admissions

Unlike the other countries, there are no pre-qualifying examinations like TOEFL, IELTS, etc. for admission to the MBBS course in Russia. The admissions are based on the 12th standard marks for the Graduate courses and as per the equivalency of the Indian graduate degree with the Russian degrees for the postgraduate courses. All admissions are strictly on a first come first serve basis.
As per the Medical Council of India the minimum qualification for Indian Students to study in these countries is 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology in the 12th standard. In the case of SC/ST, it is 40%. The minimum age should be 17 years.
Indian students intending to obtain a primary medical qualification from any medical institution outside India, on or after 1st May 2018, shall have to mandatorily qualify NEET “National Eligibility -cum Entrance Test for Admission to MBBS Course.

To apply for the Student Visa, first, you have to decide the course that you want to study and in which Institute. Secondly, after submitting your application to the institute, you will receive the offer letter or an invitation from them. Once you receive the offer letter, you will have to get your electronic Confirmation of enrollment. Finally, you can apply for a student visa.

The student does not have to appear for the visa interview. However, it depends on the consultant.
Rus Education is exclusively authorized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture (Cultural Department of the Embassy of Russian Federation in India). Students who enrolled in any of the medical Universities in Russia through Rus Education does not have to go through the visa interview unless the authority has any doubt about the student.
Below are the documents required for student visa application:
- Original passport and a photocopy of the same (front and back page)
- Invitation letter (should have the university’s official letterhead).
- Visa application form.
- Passport size photographs (3.5×4.5)
- HIV test certificate
International students can study and work at the same time at the University campus during their free time. In some cases, the student must attain a permit from the General Administration for Migration Issues of the Interior Ministry of Russia to work only in the city where the university is located.
However, it is not advisable for the students who are pursuing MBBS to study and work at the same time in Russia as the students do not have enough free time due to intensive study at the Russian Universities.
The Russian student visa process has different stages.
1. Invitation Letter:
After securing the admission to any educational institute in Russia, the students must acquire an invitation letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its regional office. Or, an invitation letter must be issued by the University where the student has enrolled. The Invitation letter should be on the official letterhead of the University which includes the signature of the head of the University.
2. Visa Application and Registration:
Firstly, the students must register and fill the visa application form online. After it is submitted, take a printout and remember to put the signature before submitting the form at the Russian embassy or consulate. Make sure that all the required documents are attached to the application form and submit along with the required application fee.
Note: The visa application can be done through the Russian embassy or consulate or the Russian Visa Center.
Once the form is accepted by the Russian embassy, the visa processing will take around 4 to 7 days. The Embassy will provide a notification through email or message when the visa is completed and can be collected.
A student visa is valid only till the course is completed. The students are allowed to stay in the country for a short period after the completion of their studies.
The Russian student visa has a validity period of 90 days. However, this can be extended to a year once the student reaches Russia. If the course is for more than a year, the student can renew their visa for the duration of the study.

However, a student visa is issued as a single-entry visa. It is granted for a period of 3 months. Students can later extend the visa depending on the duration of their course.
University
The medium of instruction in Medical colleges in Russia is English with the help of the Russian Language. Clinical subjects (Hospital training in most Medical Universities of Russia are taught in the Russian Language because students have to interact with the patients directly.) Every Medical University of Russia has a Russian Language Department where specific terminology is taught in Russian in context to MBBS.
The academic year in Russia begins in September in all the Russian Medical Universities. All Russian medical universities have two academic sessions. The first semester starts from September to January and the second academic semester starts from February to June.
- First-semester examinations are conducted in January
- Second-semester examinations are conducted in June.
The duration of MBBS in Russia is of 5.8 years (approx. 6 years). All the top government medical universities of Russia offer MBBS in complete English medium and that too at an affordable cost. The degree awarded to the medical graduates after the completion of 6 years of the medical program is recognized globally, therefore graduates after pursuing MBBS in Russia can practice their medical career in any country of the world.
Every university has dedicated student’s clinics on university premises. Students can get medical treatment from those clinics. Apart from that, Rus Education provides Medical Insurance to all its students which is compulsory while traveling abroad. All the establishments like university buildings, hostels, classrooms and hospitals are centrally heated. This heating system is regulated by the local municipal departments. Students have access to centrally heated hostels, and 24hours running hot and cold water.
As per the regulations of Universities, all International students sign a contract at the time of admission. This contract specifies educational responsibility on the part of the university and responsibilities of the students. This contract is general and a statutory requirement in these countries.

NEET And FMGE/ MCI Screening Test How do I start to prepare for FMGE?
There are various ways you can prepare for the MCI Screening Test/FMGE. Below are the few steps which you can follow:
- Know the FMGE syllabus.

Students get a vacation in July & August. In summer vacations, they have to complete hospital training which is part of the academic curriculum. Some universities allow students to complete hospital training in their native countries. So, students can come back home at the starting of the holidays. In other universities, students complete hospital training in University hospitals. So, they can only come back to the native country in completing the training.
Apart from vacations, students can come back home in case of emergency conditions with prior permission from university officials.
